Dr. Dennis R. Culbreth has served as the Director of Missions of the Hamilton County Baptist Association since July of 2015. Dr. Culbreth is a native of Evergreen AL and is a graduate of Samford University (Bachelor of Arts), Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas (Master of Divinity) and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY (Doctor of Ministry).
He has served as senior pastor, church planter, and on staff in churches in Texas, Alabama, Georgia, and Virginia. Dennis also served on the Senior Executive Leadership Team at the North American Mission Board. He was elected President of the Virginia Baptist Convention (SBCV) and has served as a trustee for the North American Mission Board and Liberty University. He also serves on the Board of Ministerial Mentors for Samford University.
He is married to the former Marybeth Frahler of Atlanta, GA and they have three children: Andrew, Matthew, and Grace.
