Fair & Special Events COORDINATOR

  1. Reports to the Director
  2. Leadership
  • Collaborate with the director as needed on decisions and preferences
  • Promote Chapter agenda among staff and workers (develop teamwork)
  • Keep director fully informed
  • Oversee and manage Fairs, Party Clubs and Special Events.
  • Seek financial and volunteer support for ministries and projects.
  1. Club Coordinator— Fair & Special Events ministries
  • Work with churches and pastors to gain volunteers and chapter support.
  • Work with organizations, churches and managers to open additional clubs and events.
  • Build necessary relationships with:
    1. Volunteers
    2. CEF leadership
    3. Churches, individuals and ministry partners
  • Promote CEF among other ministry and community leaders.
    1. For support
    2. For teachers, coordinators, and volunteers
    3. For networking
    4. For information
  • Teach Party Clubs and fill in, if necessary, in Good News Clubs.
  • Recruit, interview and approve all volunteers for Fairs & Special Events ministries.
  • Assist with planning and participate in training of Good News Club workers.
  • Train face painters as necessary
  1. Promote Prayer and Discipleship
  • Develop prayer chains, groups and partners.
  • Share prayer request list with staff and board. Pray with staff often.
  • Notify and seek involvement of churches and individuals in the World Day of Prayer.
  • Share victories and answered prayer with others regularly.
  • Help with presentation, set up, clean up for Chapter programs.
  1. Facilities duties:
  • Assist with keeping the office organized, sanitary, clean and functional.

Summer Ministry 5-Day Clubs

  • Assist with training 5-Day Clubs teams.
  • Look for additional opportunities to present the Gospel to children
  • Encourage workers and continuously train them
  • Keep counts of contacts, Clubs, children participating and salvations.
  • Assist in recruiting personnel for Five Day Clubs, as time permits
  • Build mentoring relationships with workers.
  • Develop training materials and train workers, as necessary
  • If involved, make sure that Clubs are called by teachers to insure the teams are expected

     Christian Youth in Action (CYIA)

  • Plan and teach classes.
  • Supervise practicums for helpers and teachers.
  • Arrange for the training of helpers and teachers.

J-Fest

  • Manage recruiting and enlisting of volunteer workers.
  • Manage shift assignments and set up.
  • Report the numbers of children engaged and professions of faith.

Pre-school

  • Manage recruiting and enlisting of volunteer workers.
  • Manage training of preschool volunteers.
  • Report the numbers of children engaged and professions of faith.

  • Confident about calling to minister to children.
  • Integrity/Character/ Great attitude.
  • Be a mature Christian with a demonstrated love of Jesus Christ.
  • In good standing and involved with their local church.
  • A leader with influence.

Do you want to learn to teach ESL classes but don’t know how? We can help! Twice a year the Hamilton County Baptist Association hosts a training program for those who wish to TEACH English as a second language. This training is online, with modules for you to work through, as you read through your required manual. Everyone can go at their own pace, just as long as it is finished within the allotted time frame. There will also be a REQUIRED 5-hour video conference lesson, on Zoom, at the end of the training period. Start and End dates of the online modules: February 15th through March 13th. When is the end-of-course online call with instructor: the following Saturday, March 15th , from 9am-3pm LOCATION: wherever you use a computer COST: $50 for access to this training (non-refundable). There are two options for your required manual: a free digital download, or a printed manual, ranging from $9-13, depending on your ordering method. All instructions on how to receive this manual will come from Bailey Biddle after you fill out the registration form below. First, get in touch with us and let us know you are taking the training, by answering all the following questions. We will need to hear from you before you can register. FILL OUT CONTACT US FORM BELOW! Second, Bailey Biddle will be in touch with you to ask some follow-up questions, and explain how to pay for the training. After paying, you will need send your confirmation number to Bailey. Once you have sent your confirmation number, Bailey Biddle will send you what you need to make an account with the North American Mission Board.
